Aidan T Walsh
I have a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology, University of Western Australia and Bachelor of Marine Science with First Class Honours, University of Tasmania. My thesis, ‘Efficacy of baited remote underwater video systems and bait type in the cool-temperature zone for monitoring ‘no-take’ marine reserves’, was published in Marine & Freshwater Research in June 2016. Following the completion of my thesis, I worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Science, University of Tasmania, in a team undertaking a baseline study of Commonwealth Marine Reserves of Tasmania. Currently I am a Fisheries Management Officer, Rock Lobster, Deep-Sea Crab and Cephalopods team, in the Aquatic Resource Management Branch, at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development in Western Australia.
