Julia Constance

Julia is a PhD candidate in the Research Institute for the Environment and Livelihoods (RIEL) under the primary supervision of Dr. Peter Kyne. She has broad research interests in shark and ray conservation biology in marine, estuarine and fresh waters. Her current research area is examining the movement ecology, habitat use, and mortality of river sharks (the Northern River Shark and the Speartooth Shark) in the Northern Territory to aid their conservation and inform management. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science (Conservation Biology) and a Bachelor of Arts (Photography & minor in Indigenous Studies) from the University of Wollongong, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours 1A) from Charles Darwin University.
