Cameron Lay

After almost 30 years working across rivers, estuaries and remote islands, Cameron remains convinced that relationships and collaboration are at the core of natural resource management outcomes. Our capacity to influence natural systems is directly related to how people interact with the resource, and it's through changing the behaviours and perspectives of people that we can change the trajectory of our natural environment. Cameron is currently Director of Freshwater Environment with DPIRD Fisheries in NSW and also heads up the NSW aquatic Threatened Species program.
